Its almost that time of the year that, every video game guy waits for.. The release is little over a week away. Today EAsports released the player ratings for the offensive players. Of course my guy Calvin Johnson Jr. has the #1 Spot for the Wide Reciever/ Tight End positions.
Check out the Madden 25 site for all the official listings. I'm sure there will be a few rankings in there that you don't agree with.. This should be a interesting year in football and in Madden 25..

This blog is to inform those that don't have a clue about the many sides of HipHop. It's contents come from the prespective of the common hiphop enthusiast... I'm not in the industry. I'm just a guy that loves the hiphop culture. I write this for those looking to hear other things besides the 10 songs on repeat on any HipHop station you hear.

Big Sean Releases New Single
Yesterday the twitter world went crazy over the new song by Big Sean's new song entitled Control featuring Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica.. Typically a new single release does not cause so much up roar. But Kendrick Lamar verse turned the Hip World on upside down yesterday...
Take a listen....
What do you think ?
Kendrick went in on every hot hip hop new artist.. Butting every one on notice that he is cool with every one but is going after that top spot.. Kendrick only said what every rapper in the world thinks. You have to respect him for that.. So many people are saying that he is taking shots at all the rappers he calls out.. Clearly he is not calling out people that he is currently on the same song with. Clearly he is saying that he has love for all these people but he is going for the #1 spot.. Please don't forget about Jay Electronica.. Because as usual he comes with a dope verse that you need to listen to time and time again to catch all that he is giving to you.. You have to appreciate this song for all that it is. Even though this is a Big Sean song, it almost has the same feel as a Jay-z featuring Eminem, where the main artist on the song does not give the best verse..
This is a great hip hop track.. This is the true heart of hip hop.. The introduction of the battle. Although it may be friendly its still how hip hop got started, And I love it.. Calling out people like they are standing in the cypher right in front of you, and calling everyone who's name you can think of out and putting them on notice that you are going for it all and no one of you going to stop me.. All I can say is DOPE DOPE DOPE..
UPDATE: So it looks like a host of rappers have thrown there hat into the mix with different remixes or responses to the Kendrick Lamar Verse..
First up was Joell Ortiz, Lupe Fiasco.. and a few others.. I can't lie, When I saw that there was a Cassidy response to this, I got happy and ready to hear some major flow...
Take a listen to all the responses and you let me know who came back the hardest..
Let me know what you think..

Going Back To Cali
I'm goimg going back back to cali. It feels so good to be away from the hustle and grind of chicago. I came out of here to LA to be in my cousins wedding. Getting a week in the sun has been great. I got to take in a dodgers game. (Pics below) After going to the dodgers game I never realized how much the LA Dodgers are a part of HIP HOP culture. Those damn Dodgers logos are everywhere. I guess if I was In NY I would see there logo. Over all I had a great time with the fam. It was a low scoring game but Yaseil Puag hit a walk off homerun in the 11th inning and the crowd went nuts.

Rich Gang: YMCMB Collaboration Released TODAY :
Today marks the Release of the YMCMB camp album.. After hearing the radio single (Tap Out) over and over again, I must be honest, I was not giving this project much of a chance.. Yes it has some of the games hottest MC's, Artist on this track, but if this song is suppose to draw me in to go get this group effort.. It has missed the mark.. I am on the other hand looking forward to see what Mystikal still has in the tank. As he is featured on a few songs.. I was surprised to see Limp Bizkit also featured on a song.. (yes they are YMCMB) On the deluxe version of the album it looks like Stevie J. from Love and Hip Hop makes an guest appearance on the album.. (this should be interesting) Even though it seems like I'm starting on the negative I'm going to give it a few listens and see whats up...I just hope this is better than that We Are Young Money project from a few years back..Check out the project and let me know what you think..

Welcome Back
Well it feels good to be back. After a long break I'm back.. Over the last few months there has been a lot of great things happening in Hip Hop Culture.. From this sneaker thing getting more and more crazy, Love and Hip Hop blowing up and taking every ones home by storm. Not to mention a ton a new music.. Trust me your ears should be happy with all the new music that continues to come out..
Over the next few days I'm going to try to review some of the some of the new albums that have come out over the last few weeks. With all this new music there is no way to review it objectively with out being swayed by all the new things out..In doing that I'm going to take my time and review all this new hotness. First up of course is that NEW J. Cole. Over the last 4 weeks have you noticed that Jay-Z has had his hand in all 4 #1 albums over that time.. First we have Yeezus, then we have J. Cole Born Sinner, Wale the Gifted, then his own project Magna Carta Holy Grail. This year alone Jay-z has started a sports marketing agency, Sold a million copies of his album before it was even released, Yes, Clearly if you mus have been hiding under a roc if you didn't know that Jay-z sold 1 million copies of album to Samsung to be given away by them. That means even before Magna Carta Holy Grail was released it was platinum. That's what you call a business man . Taking some lyrics right from Jay-Z, " I'm not a businessman I'm a business man, let me handle my business damn...." DAMN is right. Any hustler has to respect that..
This also marks the first time in history that 4 hiphop/rap albums have held down the #4 spot in consecutive weeks. Can we say Illuminati.. Just joking ..Lets just give a round of applause for all the good music.
I know I named a few but trust me, I know there is a lot of music that you guys are sleeping on.. There is more to the word of hiphop besides the stuff you hear on repeat on you local station. If your looking for some music besides the stuff you hear all the time.. Try listening to that new Prodigy and Alchemist or even the new Mac Miller. I have taken my initial listens of each album, and a review of both will be coming soon..
Ohhhhh before I forget Wale and J. Cole just dropped a new track that is not on ether of there cd's. The name of this track is called Winter Schemes.. Let me know what you think..
