Anniversaries

Today marked a few anniversaries in music.. One is very sad and the other makes me go down memory lane.. I will give you the sad one first.. Today marks 5 years to the day that Micheal Jackson passed away.. The king of pop was only 50 years of age when he left us.

. His latest album opened the charts at 2nd place.. Even though we will always have his music, the king of pop will truly be missed.. Today also marks the day that JayZ Resonable Doubt dropped in stores.. I know when it dropped I was not checkin for JayZ.. I was truly listening to 2pac and Cube and few others I could find and listen to at the age of 14.. But once I heard it was like DAMN.. And it instantly was a classic.. I honestly say i didn't really start listening to JayZ until my senior year in high school.. The Hard Knock life album came out that year and I was hocked.. I was Rocawear pants, shirts, BIG leather jacket.. You couldnt tell me back then that I was not in Rocafella ( lol ) yeah that's funny looking back that time in my life..
